Timothy Peters (above) owns 10 of the 16 all-time race victories for Red Horse Racing in the Camping World Truck Series.
With Red Horse suspending operations immediately and indefinitely because of a lack of funding, now is the time to take a look back on the organization’s long and successful 13-year run in the series.

Moffitt at Michigan
Although he didn’t know it at the time, Brett Moffitt quite possibly scored the final win in the history of Red Horse Racing when he won at Michigan in 2016.
Owner Tom DeLoach has said he will resume operations if he can find a partner or raise funds in another way, but for the time being there are no plans to continue racing at all by Red Horse.

Championship 4
Although he didn’t win a race in 2016, Peters did perform well ehough in the No. 17 to make the inaugural Truck Series playoffs. He then advanced all the way to the Championship 4 in the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where he raced for the series title.
